Teaching at the University of Udine

Since November 2025, I have held teaching responsibilities in psychiatry at the University of Udine, Department of Medicine, within degree programmes for health professions and postgraduate medical training.

My teaching activity focuses on core clinical psychiatry, psychopharmacology, psychiatric assessment, affective and psychotic disorders, substance-related and behavioural addictions, consultation-liaison psychiatry, psychogeriatrics, psychiatric comorbidity, and the interface between mental and physical health.

Current teaching responsibilities include:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Teaching responsibility for Psychiatry, module of Nursing in the Community, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, University of Udine. The module is offered in the third year and includes 1 CFU, corresponding to 12 teaching hours.

Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Education
Teaching responsibility for Psychiatry of Substance-Related Addictions, module of the Integrated Course in Psychiatry, Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Education, University of Udine. The module is offered in the second year and includes 2 CFU, corresponding to 20 teaching hours.

Teaching responsibility for Psychiatry of Behavioural Addictions, module of the Integrated Course in Psychiatry, Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Education, University of Udine. The module is offered in the second year and includes 1 CFU, corresponding to 10 teaching hours.

Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy
Teaching responsibility for Psychiatry, module of Neurology, Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy, University of Udine. The module is offered in the second year and includes 1 CFU, corresponding to 10 teaching hours.

Teaching responsibility for Psychiatry, module of General and Specialist Medicine: Clinical Practice and Rehabilitation, Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy, University of Udine. The module is offered in the third year and includes 1 CFU, corresponding to 10 teaching hours.

Postgraduate School in Psychiatry

Teaching responsibility within the Postgraduate School in Psychiatry, University of Udine, contributing to the specialist medical training of psychiatry residents. I am also a member of the examination, thesis, and diploma boards of the same Postgraduate School.
